Your daily dining. His celebrity signature.

At Ananta Santa Cruz, our future senior living residents will be getting a taste of celebrity in every meal. Chef Aarón Sánchez has partnered with Calson Management, Ananta’s operations team, on its “Reimagining Senior Dining” mission.

Chef Sánchez is lending his menu development and hands-on expertise to dining programs at Ananta Senior Living, bringing hospitality-grade dining to the people who live here. Chef Sánchez is a James Beard Award-winning chef, restaurateur, Emmy-nominated television personality, and bestselling author. He’s internationally recognized as one of the leading voices in contemporary Mexican cuisine and has built his career celebrating Latino culture through food, media, and mentorship.

“Culture in the Kitchen and Comfort to the Table.”

“Food has always been about much more than what’s on the plate. It’s about culture, memory, and bringing people together. That’s what excites me about working with Ananta Santa Cruz. We have an opportunity to raise the bar for what dining can look and feel like in senior living, creating meals that are full of flavor and personality while making the dining table an even more meaningful place for residents to connect,” said Chef Aarón Sánchez, the new Culinary Ambassador for Ananta Santa Cruz, managed by Calson Management. His personal tagline,

“Culture in the Kitchen,” reflects his approach to bringing flavor, tradition, and craft to every table, and now anchors the partnership’s broader promise to residents: “Culture in the Kitchen and Comfort to the Table.”

Joining him is longtime friend and fellow chef John Mooney, who steps in as Calson Management’s Regional Culinary Director, training Ananta’s culinary team and bringing Chef Sánchez’s recipes to residents’ tables every day. Chef Mooney brings more than four decades of experience leading kitchens around the world and was named “Best Hotel Chef in America” by the James Beard Foundation in 2004.
